You are more than welcome to set up what is called an extended test drive and by doing this you can have a local third party mechanic check over the vehicle before you purchase it to see if it is in the right condition for you. If you decide to not have a mechanic look it over prepurchase the vehicle is sold without guarantee or warranty. Any and all repairs needed on the vehicle at that point are at the customers expense.
